MatLink is a construction-site materials ordering and delivery coordination app operated by GMJ Innovations Ltd. You can request deletion of your MatLink account and associated personal data even if you can no longer sign in to the app.
How to request account deletion
- Email contact@gmjinnovations.co.uk with the subject MatLink Account Deletion Request.
- Include your MatLink account name or username, the construction site or Site ID associated with your account, and a contact method we can use to verify that the account belongs to you.
- We will check account ownership, explain any information that needs to be retained, and process the request in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
Do not send your password, verification codes or other secrets. If more information is needed to verify the request, we will contact you. You do not need to keep the app installed to request deletion.
What happens to your information
When an eligible deletion request is completed, we will remove or anonymise personal account information that is no longer required, such as account contact details, authentication and session information, and site-access details, as appropriate to the request.
Some operational records, such as material orders, delivery history, site activity and related audit records, may need to be retained to meet legal obligations, legitimate contractual or site-record requirements, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where possible, retained records will be separated from or anonymised in relation to the deleted account. Closing, banning or suspending an account alone does not constitute account deletion.
We will tell you which categories of your data have been deleted or retained and the reasons for retention. Retained information will be kept only as long as the relevant legal or operational requirement applies; any applicable retention period will be explained as part of our response.
When to expect a response
We handle requests in accordance with applicable UK data-protection law. We normally respond within one calendar month, subject to any lawful extension, exception or need to verify identity.

You may also contact us to ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information without necessarily closing your account. Please use the subject MatLink Privacy Request and explain your request.
